Katrina Miller, Campaigns Director

In April of 2007 Katrina became TEA's Campaigns Director.

In addition Katrina is TEA's Toxics Campaigner, covering pesticide-use reduction, environmental exposures to carcinogens, clean production and Community Right to Know legislation. Katrina became a staff member of TEA in 2000, following her graduation from the University of Toronto, with a B.A. in Environment and Resource Management from the Department of Geography. For the last three years, Katrina's work has been focused on campaigning for a By-law restricting the use of cosmetic pesticides in Toronto. Toronto's Pesticide Bylaw came into effect April 2004.

Katrina was the principle author of a TEA investigative report released in 2002 called Breaking the Law: Pesticide Advertising and Public Deception. She has had the opportunity to serve on many committees, including:

  • Mayor David Miller's Transition Advisory Group: Member (November 2003 - January 2004)
  • City of Toronto, Sustainability Roundtable: Chair of Education and Awareness Working group (April 2001 - May 2002)
