Danyaal Raza

Dan is a staff physician with the Department of Family & Community Medicine of St. Michael’s Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Toronto. His writing, research and teaching focuses on the social determinants of health, in both health care and public policy. 

Dan serves on the Board of Directors of Canadian Doctors for Medicare and on the Advisory Board of Upstream. Most recently, his work and advocacy has focused on implementing paid sick leave as a part of Ontario's Changing Workplaces Review, and lobbying the federal government for a national drug plan.
