The 2016 EcoBunk Awards

Every year, TEA supporters come together to bare witness to the horrors that the advertising industry inflicts on the public, trying to convince them that companies have the environment’s best interest in mind.

Our host Nile Seguin tries to prepare us for the truly awful ads that we’re about to see.

Sadly, we know that this is not true!

“‘Don’t let nature make YOU feel insignificant.’ That sounds like it was written by a guy who kicks his dog.” - Rebecca Reeds

“This ad is a finalist for us because it knows its target demographic: women love fur, women love cute animals, mom’s are women -so this ad is like, perfection.” - Rick Smith

Twenty-six years ago, a group of people met with an idea to have a comedy fundraiser to debunk some of these outrageous advertisements and EcoBunk was born.

For those who have attended this outrageous event, you know how funny it can be. For those who have yet to attend EcoBunk, there’s always next year.

Executive Director, Franz Hartmann thanks our sponsors and our guests, both new and old.
