Ban of Used Oil Burning Under Fire -  We Need Your Help!

Dear TEA members,


Recently, the provincial government announced a draft regulation banning the
burning of used oil.  Burning used oil releases highly toxic pollutants into
our air and the ban will serve to better protect public health and the
environment.  Before this regulation is finalized, a formal public comment
period is required and posted on the Environmental Bill of Rights Registry
at http://www.ene.gov.on.ca/envregistry/029109er.htm.  Unfortunately,
industry has mobilized itself and has sent in hundreds of letters calling
for the government NOT to implement the ban.


We need your help!  Attached is a letter in SUPPORT of the ban.  Please send
