Working on our exciting Community Right-to-Know Campaign, Lina is a vibrant and energetic member of our campaign team.
Since 2000, Lina has produced and directed short environmental documentaries on issues such as industrial toxins and pollution. Her passion behind the lens connected with her strong support for environmental campaigns and her love of nature led her to want to get more involved in taking action on environmental issues.
Working closely with the grassroots activists of Residents for Safer Communities, Lina is pushing ahead with the research, lobbying and education that will be necessary to pressure council to adopt a new by-law giving community members access to information about toxic releases in their neighbourhood.
