TEA's Penny Drive!

Help TEA collect 2.5 million pennies - one for every Torontonian.

Your pennies will help us to build a greener City for all of us!

On March 22nd 2012, Stephen Harper told Canadians the penny is going. He also told us important environmental programs and laws must be sacrificed, all in the name of economic prosperity.

In the past, your pennies helped us educate politicians about how wrong Stephen Harper is about the environment and the economy. In January, we convinced Councillors to stop cuts to important environmental programs in the city’s 2012 budget. They acknowledged that a healthy environment is the cornerstone of economic prosperity.

But, as we saw on March 22nd, much more needs to be done to convince politicians that harming the environment helps no one.  That’s why we need your pennies before they’re gone.

Go and get your penny jar, and put a sign on it that says “Pennies for TEA.”

Our goal is to collect 2.5 million pennies, one for each Torontonian.

We promise you that each penny will be used to help build a greener Toronto for all of us.

You can also make a one-time or monthly donation using our online donation form now.
