Torontonians in the CityPlace neighbourhood took to their local streets and parks to celebrate Earth Day and create a greener, cleaner community. The event included a community clean up in Canoe Landing Park, a donation drive for items that can be reused, repaired or recycled and a Cleanup After Party sponsored by CityPlace Fort York BIA. A large number of organizers came together to make this happen including Toronto Environmental Alliance, CityPlace Fort York BIA and more. Toronto City Councillor, Joe Cressy was also there.
