The Toronto Toxic Reduction Tool Kit is a great resource to help community leaders investigate local toxic substances and take steps to reduce exposures and releases in their neighbourhood or work place. This resource will especially help Torontonians use the City of Toronto's ChemTRAC Program, which provides the public with the 'right to know'.

This kit was written by members of the Toronto Cancer Prevention Coalition's Environmental & Occupational Carcinogens Working Group, including the Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA).

	Tool Kit #2 The "Toxic Twenty-Five" Priority Substances A description of the 25 substances that includes the sources, their health effects, uses and the workers that might be exposed to them
	Tool Kit #3 Reporting Companies An explanation of the types of industries and businesses that must report under the Environmental Reporting and Disclosure Bylaw and their timetables for reporting
	Tool Kit #4 Model Companies Show How Pollution Prevention Works Examples of companies in different sectors that have successfully changed their practices from pollution to pollution prevention
	Tool Kit #5 How to Research Chemicals Using ChemTRAC A step-by-step guide to accessing information and data submitted by companies under the Environmental Reporting and Disclosure Bylaw
	Tool Kit #6 Reducing Pollutants in Your Neighbourhood Suggested ways in which the Environmental Reporting and Disclosure Bylaw may be used to influence neighbouring companies to reduce or eliminate their pollutants
	Tool Kit #7 Auditing Your Workplace Suggested ways in which the Environmental Reporting and Disclosure Bylaw may be used by workers to identify chemicals and to reduce or eliminate pollutants in the workplace
	Tool Kit #8 Getting the Toxic Twenty-Five Out of Your Home A walk-through the rooms of a typical home identifying products that may contain the 25 toxic chemicals covered by the Environmental Reporting and Disclosure Bylaw and making recommendations for alternatives
