CouncilWatch - Help Us Keep Toronto Council Green

Today, Torontonians woke up to a newly elected mayor, Rob Ford, and to a newly elected Council.  Throughout his election campaign, Mayor Ford made it clear that he was not interested in the environment

The good news is that a majority of the elected Councillors scored well on our Candidate report card (24 A's and 1 B), and committed to key environmental priority actions! See the results here.

What You Can Do
Now, we need to send a strong message to the new Council that Torontonians expect their new Councillors to be green, and we need your help!  Send a simple letter to your Councillor, asking them to make the environment a priority over the next 4 years. We'll deliver these letters in person before the first Council meeting in December.

Join TEA - it's free!
