TEA Addresses Provincial Committee on Bill 4 (the Cancellation of Cap and Trade)
TEA was one of the few environmental groups accepted to appear before the Standing Committee on General Government to address concerns about Bill 4. The Bill would dismantle the cap and trade program and repeal Ontario Climate Change Action Plan. The committee also soliciting ideas and insights to help inform the development of a new climate action plan.
