TEA Tables at Community Events

Volunteers take the TEA message all around Toronto by participating in community events.

They explain TEA to folks who have not encountered us before, and chat with them about the issues they care about.
The result: new members sign up with TEA, residents become better informed and we learn how community members feel about environmental issues.

To prepare for "tabling" TEA staff meet with volunteers to update them on the issues.  Supplies include the TEA "tablecloth," sign-up sheets and a pack of relevant pamphlets and fliers. New volunteers are paired with experienced people.

In the park or the local college, volunteering at a TEA table is a great way to meet the community and spread the word.
