Binu Saradakutty

Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator

Originally an Aquatic Biologist from India, Binu has extensive community outreach and volunteer management experience in different non-profit organizations. As a Coordinator of Multicultural Outreach Programs at the Credit Valley Conservation, Binu facilitated workshops and presentations for different community groups across the Credit River Watershed. A member of Ontario College of Teachers with a Master's degree in Education from OISE, Binu developed and delivered environmental education programs in the non-profit sector and in the Peel District School Board. Binu has also worked as a Program Analyst for the Ontario Ministry of Government Services on diversity and inclusion programs. She believes that the environment is for all and each of us has an important role to play to protect it. Binu is delighted to be the newest addition to the TEAm, where she has the opportunity to promote a green, healthy, and equitable city.
