In light of the July 16th storm, we can and must transform our city from pavement to permeable, green surfaces that absorb rain and stormwater before it hits our overburdened sewer system.
TEA has released a letter in support of a motion related to flooding endorsed by organizations across Toronto. Our letter also calls for strong action to ensure that renters and homeowners aren’t unfairly subsidizing the management of stormwater from large paved areas in our city.
