March for Jobs, Justice and the Climate

This Sunday, thousands of people are coming together in the streets of Toronto. Why? Because we want to see a just transition from dirty energy into a clean energy future. We want to make it clear that you don’t have to choose between the economy and the environment. By taking action to tackle the effects of climate change, we can create an economy that is more fair and equal and generates hundreds of thousands of good green jobs.

Join the staff and volunteers from TEA this Sunday as we march for better jobs, justice for all, and action on climate change. Meet us at 12:30, half an hour before the march starts.

Time: Meet at 12:30 (march starts at 1:00)
Location: Statue of John Graves Simcoe to the far east side of the Legislative Building. Look for banners for the Toronto Environmental Alliance and People’s Climate Movement.

March Route: Starting from Queen's Park, will march down University Avenue onto Dundas Street. We will then make our way across Jarvis Street to finish the march at Allan Gardens.

Please RSVP below if you plan on joining TEA at the march.
