Michelle is a lawyer, life-long Toronto resident, and passionate environmentalist. Her legal career has spanned human rights law, not-profit and regulatory governance, contract law, privacy law, and health law.
This has included working as legal counsel for the Ontario government and in private practice, as well as volunteer work for community legal clinics.
In her independent legal practice, Michelle routinely advises organizations on a wide range of legal, governance, policy, and strategic issues. She also recently returned to school to complete her masters of environmental studies at York University, where she focused her research on environmental equity and justice issues.
