Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2025 Greener City Celebration! From our attendees, to our performers, to our sponsors, to our staff and volunteers who brought it all together, we could not have done this with out you!
For the second year in a row we celebrated in Cecil Community Centre and we were thrilled to have comedian Gaurav Dhama (left) and Juno nominated musician Beny Esguerra (right) join us!

We enjoyed wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks from our beverage sponsors Malivoire and GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co. Once again the shrimp dumplings were a huge hit along with goodies from our food sponsors such as bread from The Spent Goods, sweet treats from Sweats from the Earth, and cheese from Cheese Magic.
This year the Toronto Environmental Alliance was honoured to present the Green City for All Award to 42 Voices for their outstanding efforts in mobilizing residents through civic engagement and integrating local climate action into this work. Their initiatives, including food tours, community cleanups ups, town halls and community events, and more in the Malvern area, have inspired collective action and built stronger, greener, and more connected neighbourhoods.

This year's recipients were: Brian Ndobe Mukwelley, Ketheesakumaran Navaratnam, Felicia Samuel, Sharon Dennis, Jennifer Robinson, Paulette Joseph, Srot Kadakia, Zain Khurram, Vicki Jewt, and Priyan De Silva. Congratulations and thank you for your incredible work!
