Toronto’s Single-Use Reduction Strategy

In 2021, the City of Toronto committed to eliminating unnecessary single-use plastic and take-out waste and adopted a Single-Use Reduction Strategy. The first stage of the strategy launched this summer and is focused on helping small businesses to reduce waste, including single-use foodware and accessories.
