The Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA) is thrilled to introduce a new group of buildings that are taking ambitious action on waste and building strong communities! Join us for an online celebration to hear from some of the leaders who participated in the Zero Waste High-Rise Project Online Program and took action in 2021.
After TEA launched an online program in fall 2020, residents and building staff from over 50 apartments, condos and co-ops from across Toronto joined and took steps in the project. Now, we’re celebrating eight leading buildings from the program that developed and implemented action plans that reduce waste!
Join the one-hour online event to hear their stories and celebrate successes in our community!
What you can expect:
- Learn how each building community approached waste reduction in their own way by identifying barriers and opportunities
- Hear directly from residents and staff from these buildings about their new projects and process for taking action
- Celebrate the leadership in high-rise buildings and help amplify solutions and home-grown stories of success
- Gather online with a community of other high-rise staff and residents who care!
