Virtual Tour and Learning Session with Windmill Line Co-op

Peer Learning Sessions are online events hosted by TEA's Zero Waste High-Rise Project. At each session you will hear directly from peers - residents and staff in leading zero waste buildings - and learn how they achieved waste reduction.

Join us for a virtual tour of Windmill Line, a co-op in the Esplanade neighbourhood of Toronto, that has made steady progress towards zero waste, including introducing a used cooking oil collection service.

In this 45-minute session you will:

  • Hear from resident leader Camille and property manager Juan on how they work together to reduce waste
  • Hear about the steps they took to implement and promote used cooking oil recycling during COVID-19
  • Take a virtual walkthrough of their recycling room and cooking oil collection set-up through videos and images
  • See posters and signs used to share updates and progress with other residents

RSVP for this 45 minute virtual tour and learning session. You’ll also leave the session with tools and how-to guides to help you explore launching similar initiatives in your building!

There will be time for questions at the end of the session. Please RSVP using the form below to receive the Zoom link.
