Jolene has been engaging communities online and offline on TEA’s work since the fall of 2013 when she joined the canvass team.
Before becoming Campaign Engagement Coordinator in 2015, Jolene held a number of roles at TEA including being a Field Manager of TEA's Canvass team, and a Digital Communications Intern. These experiences helped her develop a well-rounded understanding of TEA's work.
As Campaign Engagement Coordinator, Jolene works with TEA’s campaigners to effectively engage Torontonians in TEA’s campaigns and projects through volunteer engagement, community outreach and digital engagement strategies.
Jolene is passionate about engaging communities on issues of environmental, equity and social justice. She has a bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies and Political Science from the University of Toronto and has been avidly pursuing continuing education in communications, public relations and graphic design.
She’s thrilled to be at TEA in the position of Campaign Engagement Coordinator and to work with communities across Toronto to advocate for a Greener City for All!
