Kady Cowan became TEA's Interim Executive Director in the Spring of 2026 after stepping down from her position of Chair of the Board at TEA.

Zouahl joined TEA’s team in 2025 as the Campaigns and Program Coordinator. 

Laura joined TEA’s team in 2024 as the Development Coordinator.

Jessica joined TEA's team in 2023 as the Communications Manager.

Xinyuan joined TEA in February 2023 as Finance and Administrative Coordinator.

Sarah Buchanan joined TEA's team in July 2021 as Campaigns Director.

Emily joined TEA in April 2010. She brings experience in non-profit organizations and a background in Urban Planning, communications and environmental education to her work at TEA.

Mahisha joined TEA in 2022. She has prior experience working in nonprofit and charitable organizations in donor relations and research roles.

How-Sen was born and raised in Etobicoke and has been a climate and climate justice campaigner for nearly 25 years.
