Mahisha joined TEA in 2022. She has prior experience working in nonprofit and charitable organizations in donor relations and research roles.
Mahisha strives to bring an environmental justice lens to her work and has co-authored publications focused on Indigenous Environmental Justice and climate justice. She has also been part of the Indigenous Environmental Justice Project at York University since 2018. Mahisha has a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Geography and Health Studies from the University of Toronto.
