Zero Waste Action Alert: Support a Ban on Organics in Landfills

*Thanks for your interest, but this action has ended. Be sure to subscribe to our e-newsletter to get updates on this and future zero waste actions*

We have an opportunity to help transform the way we deal with waste in Ontario. But we only have until July 30th!

The Government of Ontario is considering banning organics from landfill and they are asking for public opinion. Vancouver and Massachusetts are already doing it, and we know a ban will help reduce the amount of organics wasted, fight climate change and even create green energy and green jobs.

Want to weigh in and share your opinion with the Government of Ontario? Here’s how:

  • Submit your comments using the form. You can add text into the form to customize your submission.

  • When you hit send, your comments will be sent to the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change and will be recorded as an official submission on EBR posting #013-0094

Have more questions? Want more details so you can expand on your submission? Read more here.

Act now and submit your comments before July 30th, when the consultation closes.
