PEER LEARNING EVENT: Virtual Tour of a Leading Building’s Zero Waste Space

Peer Learning Sessions are online events hosted by TEA's Zero Waste High-Rise Project. At each session you will hear directly from peers - residents and staff in leading zero waste buildings - and learn how they achieved waste reduction.

Join us for a virtual tour of Homewood, a downtown condo that has made steady progress towards zero waste, including simple redesign and set up of their waste room to reduce contamination and improve the building’s recycling rate.

In this 45-minute session you will:

  • Hear how simple changes to bins in their waste room reduced recycling contamination
  • See video and images of a special waste collection area and reuse table
  • See posters and signs used to share news and feedback with other residents
  • Hear from residents Michael and Lisa on how they’ve maintained an active and energized green team

There will be time for questions at the end of the session.

This session will be held on Zoom. You will receive information on how to join after you RSVP using the form below.
