She has worked both inside and outside City Hall to build a more inclusive, healthy, vibrant, and green community. Her career has spanned jobs in media, politics, and climate change advocacy, most recently working at Environmental Defence to push for stronger provincial action on climate change and empower communities to stop Highway 413. Before this she worked for a City Councillor in Toronto, focusing on child care policy, water, transportation and housing issues.

Sarah cares deeply about bringing together social and environmental issues through progressive activism, and connecting communities with the tools they need to build a better city for all.
