In 2013, Torontonians paid over $1.1 billion to deal with one flood and one ice storm. These two severe weather events are just a taste of what climate change will bring and they made it clear climate change will be extremely expensive to residents, businesses and governments.

It’s time we knew what the price will be to Torontonians if we fail to act now. That’s why we are calling on the new City Council to complete a comprehensive study of the estimated costs of climate change over the next 20 years to City Hall, Toronto residents and city-based businesses.
