PEER LEARNING EVENT: Positive Messaging in Waste Communications (Recording)

The Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA) has been working with and studying residential high-rise buildings as they reduce waste, increase recycling and increase composting. This session looks at how positive messaging is key to effective waste communication in buildings.

For those who missed the live event or would like to review what was covered we have provided a full video recording below.

We have a special guest interview with Vera, a Green Committee member from a leading zero waste building in Toronto. Sayan, coordinator of the Zero Waste High-Rise Project, interviewed Vera and she shared how her team used creative posters and messaging to engage residents on proper sorting to reduce the community’s garbage output.

Watch the video to get inspired and learn about the steps you can take to communicate more effectively with residents in your high-rise building to reduce its waste!
