Our mid-campaign report card examines what the top Mayoral candidates have said about Toronto's six Municipal Election Environmental Priorities. These priorities are endorsed by a growing list of community and environmental organizations across Toronto.
Voting records provide an objective read of City Council's commitment to an issue. Accordingly, we used six key City Council votes from 2009-10 to measure the recent Council's suppot for an environmental agenda.

The Province has proposed a 5km shoreline 'exclusion zone' for off-shore wind turbines - effectively eliminating all possibility of off-shore wind energy in Toronto.
Today, we sent out a survey to Toronto Mayoral and Council candidates. This survey asks candidates a series of yes or no questions related to our 6 Municipal Election Environmental Priorities and endorsed by 40 organizations across Toronto.
